"What Will It Be Like...?"

What will it be like to see Jesus face to face? Think about the promise God gives us in 1 Corinthians 13:12: "For now we see through a glass; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall know even as also I am known." We think we are looking forward to see our Saviors face, just think of how excited he is to see ours.

Imagine a grandchild getting to see their grandfather. That grandfather longs and yearns for the time they get to spend with their grandchildren. When they finally get that meeting, there is hugs, there is rejoicing, there is conversation. Our grandfather wants to talk to us, to make sure everything is okay.

Jesus is longing for the one whom His soul loves. He is looking for the day He can wrap His arms around His children and say, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant. Welcome home." What a glad reunion day it will be.
