Before the novel Coronavirus started to show its face, we were able to go to the gym and mold and shape our bodies into something we were proud of. Now, the only lifting we do is taking the chocolate milk from the top shelf of the refrigerator to our mouths. In a world full of conflict and strife, it is hard to keep a positive attitude. The only news we here are of those dying from the pandemic or of those getting shot in the riots. Peculiar times such as this will make or break you. We are unable to gather like we want. Personal fellowship with the Lord is just as important as with gathering with our brothers and sisters.
Daily Bible reading and daily prayer is essential for our growth in Christ.
Our at home workouts have stepped up their game, so must our growth in Christ. This is a time where the world needs to hear of Jesus’ love more than ever. In the book of Isaiah God asks, “...Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Who will tell this lost and dying world of the love He so richly bestows upon us? Isaiah says, “...Here am I; send me.” (Isaiah 6:8 KJV) Our hearts must be prepared even when we can not meet to hear someone preach the word to us. Our hearts must be prepared to aid in preaching the word. Our hearts must be prepared because it won’t be long before His return. Here I am Lord, send me.
